Code of Conduct

CODE FOR SELF-DISCIPLINE

“The young graduates who go out of The Silver Oaks Global School carry in life the legacy of this institution — the stamp of self-discipline, character, courtliness, self-respect, and good moral values.”

FOREWORD

The Silver Oaks Global School envisions being an effervescent community of compassionate learners and thinkers for whom excellence is a credo. In a fostering, inspiring, safe and caring environment, students are able to challenge themselves with fervour and commitment, thereby attaining standards of distinction in whatever they undertake. Rules and codes are meant to provide a frame of reference for socially accepted behaviour.

School plays a central role in nurturing and developing the unique talents of every child as well as in shaping their character. In a fast-changing world driven by technological innovations and characterised by new challenges and uncertainties, the way children learn today and the way they will work tomorrow are redefining teaching and learning everywhere. Children’s holistic development and well-being are always at the heart of everything we do.

Our constant endeavour is to identify children’s interests early and guide and support them to develop those into their passion. Motivating children to explore new frontiers of learning and preparing them to be lifelong learners is integral to our educational approach. Our dedicated and caring teachers inspire students to believe in themselves and think big.

Values and Principles

The Silver Oaks Global School is a co-educational institution where English is the medium of instruction. It is “the pre-eminent centre of learning in the Malwa Region producing future leaders with a global perspective and Indian ethos.”

The specific aims and objectives of The Silver Oaks Global School’s values, ethics, and ethos are to:

  • Promote curiosity, independence of thought, lifelong learning, and fearlessness to explore intellectual realms.
  • Encourage growth towards self-discipline and self-awareness.
  • Foster an internalized ethical code.
  • Instil courtesy towards all staff and workers, at all times.
